Renewable energies produced in-house

We care about our blue planet and the future. Therefore, 4Packaging invests in sustainable and resource-saving manufacturing processes. We do not only try to reduce our energy consumption, but we also generate energy ourselves. To us, it is not only important that we save energy, but also its origin.

David Möller, the managing director comments: “We want to put into practice as many projects as possible to reduce our Co2 emissions”. Therefore, we have extended and upgraded our rooftop solar photovoltaic system on our building in Dissen: 624 modules have been installed to generate energy which will allow us to produce your printing and embossing tools more sustainably.

Thanks to the modules we can cover a large part of our energy requirements with renewable energies. In fact, we already saved 1.5 tons of Co2 and produced 2.000 kWh last cloudy January – and there is much more to come!
