4P's future strategy to deal with Chromium Trioxide

Chromium Trioxide and the future of rotogravure in the packaging industry is a much-debated topic right now:

We always care about our employee’s health: In our production, state-of-the-art machines with integrated exhaustion systems and automatic lines generally avoid any contact with chemicals.

About the future of rotogravure, we are pursuing a well-considered plan consisting of 3 steps:

  • Supervise machines and workflows according to EU regulations

  • Support K. Walter’s ChromeXtend strategy to get authorization until 2033

  • Switch to an alternative as soon as possible

David Möller, our managing director, says: "For the last 20 years, we have successfully cooperated with K. Walter. They have always been our experts in chrome plating and we are convinced of their ChromeXtend concept. We trust that we are in best hands!"

We are working on a future-oriented and promising solution for rotogravure and embossing cylinder production. If you are interested in further information, contact our sales team!
